Description: Tall [about 6'3] and lanky with wild, ragged blond hair that falls over half of his face. There is something distinctively *inhuman* about him, but it's subtle. His visible eye is golden and feline, his skin is covered with scratches and eyes are shadowed with deep criss-crossing bags, and most of all... if he opens his mouth, there's an array of shark teeth jutting out of his gums. However, he usually wears a tattered red scarf around his neck that conceals his mouth and most of his face. The rest of his outfit is a military-style blue uniform, with gloves that, for the most part, hide his giant gnarled hands and claws. He occasionally opts for more ragged clothes when going terrestrial.

Personality: Gruff and standoffish, but with a deep-seated sense of honor and loyalty. He dislikes fighting an unfair fight. He has an array of mannerisms that betray his nonhuman heritage, like snorting, growling, and if something manages to make him happy, purring. Let's not mention his eating habits... He has a very very well concealed soft-spot for kids and helpless things.

History: Born on another planet or possibly dimension, he's one of the thousands of genetically engineered 'beastmen' created by Lord Genome, a millenia-old intergalactic warrior. His races was engineered to keep humanity from escaping from their underground exile all across the planet's surface, so they would remain undetected by the Anti-Spirals, a race bent on snuffing out all 'spiral' life in the universe. From a young age he was trained in combat and quickly rose through the ranks, earning himself an extremely powerful custom mecha. He was the right hand man to the four Divine Generals which served directly beneath Lord Genome, and eventually managed to outlive all of them, even his king. After Genome's defeat at the hands of the rebellious humans, he became a wanderer, until almost a decade later when circumstance teamed him up with the leader of the human rebellion, Simon. They along with the rest of the Gurren Brigade managed to defeat the Anti-Spirals, but it's impossible to say whether they got rid of them for good...

Extra Abilities: Very quick on his feet. Fast and skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as hunting and using a blade. Heightened sense of smell, hearing and night vision thanks to his feline dna. Ability to breathe underwater + flexible cartilage skeleton thanks to his shark dna. Accelerated healing abilities thanks to Lord Genome. However, stuff still *hurts* and like a shark his gills, located on the back of his neck under his mop of hair, are really sensitive, as is his nose.

Adapted or Crossover: Viral and potentially other GL characters [if anyone wants to play with me haha :C] are traveling across various dimensions / galaxies, looking for races with Spiral Energy high enough to either join the Spiral Coalition or potentially attract Anti-Spirals. They are *trying* to be relatively unobtrusive and noninvasive about their scouting, but subtlety isn't their forte. They've zeroed in on the school since it seems to have a particularly high concentration of unusual activity and Viral has been sent first to go investigate the locals and figure out their spiral potential. Since the best way to raise a spiral being's energy level is to put them under duress, well...
